Background:
Millbrook School is situated at the top of School Lane, which leads from the shops in the centre of Grove. The school is on a campus, which contains Old Mill Hall, Grove Day Centre, Grovelands Play Playgroup, Grove Community Library and the Community Centre. Grove is a large village of predominantly new, privately owned houses lying 14 miles from Oxford and just over a mile from Wantage. The school occupies an attractive site with playgrounds, a conservation area and a large playing field. Separate infant and junior schools were built in 1969, but amalgamated in 1990. At the time, substantial extension took place and the new accommodation included a nursery. It has two modern computer suites linked to a central server, plus interactive whiteboards and networked computers in every classroom.
