Background:
Freeland Church of England Primary School is a village school with large playing fields. It serves Freeland, 1960s single-storey building, with four new classrooms, two of which are Partnership foundation stage units which have been built on site to provide the younger children in the village with quality education, new computer suite with 16 computers in 2003, interactive whiteboards in all classrooms and laptops for all teachers. The school provides good music including recorder, clarinet, flute, brass instruments. The school has a balanced curriculum, with weeks set aside specifically for art, science, DT or life education and other curriculum areas that need developing. Ethos: 'A school that believes every aspect of the child is important in order to prepare pupils for life as successful adults'.
