Stanford School is a Church of England Voluntary Controlled Primary School. The school was established in the early 1870's and continues to be a part of the local church community. The Diocese and Parochial Church Council are represented on the Governing Body. The oldest part of the building dates from the 1870's and has been extended and modified. The school'serves the villages of Stanford, Goosey, Hatford and Challow Station. The school has a good range of indoor and outdoor facilities and benefits from the leadership of an enthusiastic and committed staff and the support of parents and the local community. The school provides wide range of extra-curricular activities. There are opportunities for Key Stage 2 children to participate in sports such as netball and badminton.
