Opened in 1970 to serve new housing developments in West Henley; quiet, landscaped site; integrated county nursery school added in September 1988; private extended day-care nursery opened in 1996. Over-subscribed, with 1.5 applications per place. Teachers enthusiastic and committed to developing subject areas of expertise; values broad-based curriculum. Friendly and supportive parent-teacher association promotes community spirit and provides funds for school resources. The private Eagles after-school club runs from 8am, and from 3.15pm to 6pm; small charge made. Artsmark (2002); Artsmark Silver (2005); DfES achievement award (2000, 2001, 2002); Activemark Gold (2004).
