Background:

Harriers Ground Community Primary School is surrounded by beautiful and extensive grounds. It has a large green area of sports fields and many trees surround the building. The school also has a large playground area. The school has a large hall and well-equipped stage, which enables students to produce high-quality productions. It also has large extensive playing fields, which are used for a variety of sports during the year. The school participates in Banbury partnership inter-school sports and competitions. The school has been successful in these activities. Extra-curricular activities include line dancing, badminton, football, netball, ball skills, skipping, ICT club, music, rugby, parents aerobics, staff aerobics. Events and activities are arranged to raise money either for a chosen charity or for school funds. These may be sponsored events, raffles or an evening event such as a quiz night. The school has established parent-association who promotes social activities at the school. Harriers Ground Community School is a happy, safe and stimulating environment in which pupils learn to become independent and self-motivated. The children at Harriers will have high self-esteem, feel happy and secure and will learn to trust and develop positive attitudes to life and themselves in a caring atmosphere.
